Smiglee's Statues
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
It's almost quitting time
Play as Mr. Smiglee, a museum statue repair shop owner, as he finishes up another long day. There's thousands of years of history sitting right in your shop. But there's also a statue of unknown origin sitting in the corner, and something just doesn't seem quite right about it. Just another day at the office, right?
Gameplay
This is a short puzzle horror experience that will probably take you less than 15 minutes to complete. Most of the mechanics were things I wanted to practice, including holding objects, interactable and portable items, puzzles, on-screen titles, scripted actions, etc.
Installation
Windows
Download the WIN executable and play.
macOS
Download the .app and play. Note that Gatekeeper will block you from launching the first time. Navigate to "Settings > Privacy & Security" on your computer and under the "Security" section, you will see a notification that "Smiglee's Statues.app" could not be opened. Click "Allow" and it will launch.
Linux
Launch the .x86_64 file. If using Ubuntu/Debian and using a touchpad, go to Touchpad Settings and make sure "Disable Touchpad when typing" is turned OFF or you will not be able to play using your touchpad.
Thanks for trying this game! If you have any suggestions or experience any bugs, I encourage you to make a discussion board post.
